If your building or property is at a heightened risk of attack or intrusion, linking to an off-site facility via wireless security systems can give you an added level of protection.
This passive infra red detector system responds to any movement within its field of vision. When a movement is detected, a rapid sequence of 4 photographs is taken. The first is taken without flash, capturing the shot without alerting the subject. The next 3 shots are taken with flash for improved clarity… the flash also distracts the subject and increases the chances of them facing the camera for easier identification.
Crucially, the photographs triggered by the passive infra red detector are then compressed electronically and sent by wireless radio to a remote control panel – meaning that no amount of tampering by the intruder will delete or destroy the images.
The images captured by the camera serve not only to identify an intruder, but also help security staff to establish whether an alarm is genuine or not.
