The concept of the sanctuary (Panic) room has arisen in response to the increased risk of kidnapping, criminal and terrorist attacks on high-profile or wealthy individuals and their families.
Typically the intent of the Safe Room is to provide short-term protection
for the occupants until help arrives or the attackers leave the scene.

A panic room is a space offering multiple levels of security designed to meet anticipated threats from domestic violence scenarios through to extreme hostage situations.
Secure Enclosures
PDP offer a unique rapid-build modular secure walling system designed for speedy installation. It is a format that allows the construction of complete stand-alone structures or secure partitioning and walling to complement existing structures. Its flexibility and modular form lends itself to rapid build, extension/reduction in size and relocation as and when required.

Description
Our Shielded Rooms have modular panels which mean that enclosures can be build to almost any dimensional configuration. Thirty-six standard formations are available, or we can custom design one for you.
The heart of the shielding system are three-quarter inch thick dimensionally stable cores which are laminated on both sides with 26-gauge sheet steel. (Cores meet ANSI A208.1 specifications.) The steel laminate provides the best attenuation to magnetic and electric fields, and plane waves.
Panels are joined together with a one-eighth-inch "hat & flat" clamping system. No special tools are required for construction. Enclosures can be erected, dismantled, and moved to another location as needed. Enclosures are self-standing and require no attachment to the parent building.
